About
2009 - Berlin
Berlin-based soda WOSTOK was created in 2009 in the notoriously hip neighbourhood of Kreuzberg. After spending 20 years living and working in Moscow, advertising photographer Joris van Velzen came up with a pretty wild idea: reviving a long forgotten drink from 1973.
Distribution in 20+ countries
What started in Berlin as a poorly thought-out art project unexpectedly gained a cult. The craft soda brand has a growing community of hardcore WOSTOK fans; today alive in more than 20 countries plus as far away as Singapore and Taiwan!
And just like that, Germany's smallest soda company is still independent and working with serious friends as their distribution partners.

2025 - Aarau SWITZERLAND
Together with Berlin, but from out of Aarau, Swiss Importer/Distributor Hoffa Gud Tay GmbH is now trying to conquer the hearts (and taste buds) of craft soda lovers in Switzerland.
Since we started a couple of years ago with a handful of Swiss hipster cafés and as WOSTOK is becoming more and more popular, we decided in 2025 to launch this web-portal to streamline the need for both direct consumers and the gastro scene.
When you see Edwin Kiewiet with WOSTOK, say Gruezi, Bonjour or even Goedendag and try it out. The chance is pretty good that your adventure into the world of sophisticated soda has just started!
David vs Goliath
And because we're independent, we can move really fast and get creative with discerning foodies and adventurous bartenders.
If there's one thing in both Berlin and Aarau we love as much as selling WOSTOK soda, it's being passionate about breaking old structures and being just too bold for mainstream.
So join our mission, start to think/drink outside the box and hoffa gud tay!
